Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VA Ready on Apple's App Store (iOS) or Vet Ready on Google Play (Android) — collectively referred to as "the App" — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. VA Ready and Vet Ready are the same software product released under different names to comply with each platform's branding requirements; both are produced by VA Ready LLC. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

The App is an informational tool that helps veterans:

• Estimate their combined VA disability rating using VA math, including TDIU (Total Disability Individual Unemployability) and P&T (Permanent & Total) calculations
• Explore federal and state veteran benefits at any rating level
• Review conditions common to their military occupational specialty (MOS)
• Read CFR-sourced filing guides for commonly-claimed conditions, including DBQ form references, rating criteria, and evidence checklists
• Schedule local reminders for C&P exams, appeal deadlines, and other claim milestones
• Understand the VA claims filing process
• Submit feedback, feature requests, and bug reports to the developer

The App is a reference tool only. It does not file claims, access VA systems, or interact with any government database on your behalf.

Not Legal or Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: The information provided by the App is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is NOT:

• Legal advice — consult a VA-accredited attorney or claims agent
• Medical advice — consult a qualified healthcare provider
• A guarantee of benefits — actual ratings are determined by the VA
• An official VA resource — we are not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs

You should not rely solely on information from this App to make decisions about your VA disability claim, medical treatment, or legal rights.

Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information in the App, including:

• Rating criteria sourced from 38 CFR Part 4
• Compensation rates from published VA tables
• Benefit information from state and federal sources

However, we do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. VA regulations, compensation rates, and benefit programs change periodically. We update the App regularly but there may be delays between official changes and App updates.

Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers optional Pro subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Billing is handled by the platform you downloaded the App from:

• iOS (VA Ready): All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Manage or cancel under your Apple ID account settings.
• Android (Vet Ready): All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation. Manage or cancel under Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• The Lifetime Pro option is a one-time purchase and does not renew
• Refunds for partial subscription periods are not provided by VA Ready LLC; refund eligibility is governed by Apple's or Google's policies, respectively

Free features remain available without a subscription on both platforms.

Local Notifications

The App offers optional local push notifications for reminders you explicitly create, including C&P exam reminders and claim milestone alerts. All notifications are scheduled on your device using the platform's local notification system (iOS local notifications on iPhone, Android notification channels on Android). We do not send remote push notifications, marketing messages, or server-driven alerts. You may enable or disable notifications at any time under iOS: Settings → VA Ready → Notifications, or Android: Settings → Apps → Vet Ready → Notifications. Reminder times and content are determined entirely by what you enter in the App; we have no visibility into, or control over, what you schedule.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the App's content or data
• Misrepresent the App's output as official VA determinations

Intellectual Property

The App — whether distributed as VA Ready (iOS) or Vet Ready (Android) — including its design, code, content, and branding, is the intellectual property of VA Ready LLC. The VA disability rating criteria referenced in the App are derived from public federal regulations (38 CFR) and are in the public domain.

Neither "VA Ready" nor "Vet Ready" is affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. "VA" and "Vet" in our names are general descriptors referring to U.S. military veterans, not claims of government affiliation.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VA READY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any inaccuracy in ratings, benefit estimates, or filing guidance
• Any decision you make based on information in the App
• Any unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VA Ready LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
